Henry is walking through town when he notices a poster with the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac. He
realizes they match the devas they have encountered. Rika meets him and they head to the park to meet the others. Kazu and
Kenta want to be Digimon Tamers. Takato tells them that perhaps they will get a digimon one day. Jeri shows up, and she wants
to learn the card game. She has more cards than Takato, Kazu, and Kenta. Rika offers to teach her. Meanwhile, Yamaki is planning
to use the Juggernaut program again because a huge wild one is about to bioemerge. The strange boy who has been following
the tamers around shows up again and the group decides to follow him. Once in town they see a digital field. A giant boar
digimon emerges. It is Vikaralamon. The three champion digimon have no effect on him as he rampages through the city. The
tamers are able to change some of their cards into blue cards by wishing to protect their family. All three digimon matrix
digivolve. They are about to battle Vikaralamon just as Yamaki sets off Juggernaut at full power.......
Episode 23: A World Apart:
The Tamers are having a hard time with Vikaralamon. Yamaki has set off Juggernaut at full power, and
that wierd kid is still bothering Jeri, Kazu, and Kenta. Suddenly the energy from Juggernaut hits the kid, and he turns into
a digimon! He is Makuramon, the monkey deva. Juggernaut is causing all of the digimon, including the Tamers digimon, to fade
away. Makuramon lets out a scream that disables Juggernaut. The Tamers digimon are revived, but so is Vikaralmon. Takato begins
to scream, and this gives energy to WarGrowlmon. He begins to fight back and stops Vikaralmon dead in his tracks. He flips
the boar deva over and then finishes him off with his Atomic Blaster. Meanwhile, Makuramon takes Calumon away from Jeri and
then begins to fly into the sky. Leomon tries to stop him but is blasted back down. Makuramon escapes with Calumon, but Takato
decides they will head to the digital world to save their digimon friend.
Episode 24: The Journey Begins
The damage left behind by Vikaralamon is immense. Not only that, but Calumon has been kidnapped by
Makuramon. Takato and the other Tamers have decided to go to the digital world to save their little friend. Each must find
a way to tell their parents and families that they are about to leave. Takato, Jeri, Kazu, and Kenta write essays to their
teacher Ms. Asagi telling her that they are about to leave. She tries to stop them. Guilmon finds the portal to the digital
world in his hideout in the park. The Tamers, Kazu, and Kenta begin their journey to the digital world.
Episode 25: Brave New Digital World:
The Tamers arrive in the digital world. It is very strange to them. Beams of data descend from the
sky. They can also see Earth in the sky. It's not to long before they get their first piece of action. Meramon arrives and
wants to fight. Leomon quickly stops him, and Meramon is shocked to find out they are from Earth. He wants to go there. The
next morning a herd of Jagamon marches into the area. The Tamers are almost run over by the stampede. Meramon tries to fight
them, but he is run over and deleted. Meanwhile, Calumon escapes from the clutches of Makuramon. The monkey shows returns
to find him, this time with the assistance of a large dragon. The Tamers are walking through the desert looking for Calumon
when a beam of data comes their way. If they get hit by it they will be transported to who knows where. Kazu and Kenta are
in the way, and Rika and Renamon attempt to save them.....
Episode 26: Kazu and Kenta's excellent adventures:
Kazu, Kenta, and Rika are transported to another location in the digital world. They are caught in
a vicious wind storm. They see a dome shaped house and decide to take refuge there. It is discovered that this is the home
an old married digimon couple: Babamon and Jigimon. These two are always fighting, but they are very hospitable to the Tamers.
They receive food, shelter, and even a bath. The next day when the wind dies down Rika says it's time to go. Kazu and Kenta
stay behind because they want to ask Babamon and Jijimon to become their partners. It ends up the other way around, with Babamon
and Jijimon becoming the Tamers! Rika wants to reach the top of a cliff ledge, so she goes and gets Kazu and Kenta from their
"battle". They use a piece of cloth to form a sort of glider. The wind carries them into the air.
Episode 27: Motor Cycle Madness
Takato, Henry, and Jeri happen upon a Chuchidarumon village. It is being ramsacked by a renegade motorcycle.
They take refuge in one of the houses. Meanwhile, Impmon meets up with the dog deva, who offers to help him digivolve, if
he will destroy Guilmon and the others. Impmon agrees out of desperation, and falls into a pit of lava. Takato wants to help
the Chuchidarumon, but Henry thinks it is not their place. The motorcycle attacks again, and they try to fight it. Guilmon
jumps on and knocks off the previous rider, MetalKoromon. It is discovered that the motorcycle takes control of whoever rides
it. Guilmon and the motorcycle continue to cause damage until Leomon has had enough. He smacks Guilmon in the head with his
sword, knocking him off the motorcycle. The motorcycle then falls into a pit of lava. A few seconds later the motorcycle emerges
with a new rider calling himself, Beelzemon.
Episode 28: Blame it on Ryo:
Rika, Kenta, and Kazu are trying to find the others. Rika is getting annoyed with Kazu and Kenta. They
get hit by another data stream and are sent to another part of the digital world. They meet Clockmon and Haguramon. There
are a lot of clocks and gears in the area. They see one clock that's stuck and fix it. This action releases Megadramon. Kyuubimon
can't beat him, and things look bad. Suddenly another digimon appears and attacks Megadramon. It is Cyberdramon, and he uses
his Desolation Claw to defeat Megadramon. Then his Tamer shows up, Ryo Akiyama. Kenta and Kazu discovered his identity and
are amazed to be in the presence of the card player who could beat even Rika. Ryo says he can help them for their friends,
but Rika decides to go her own way. She leaves the group
Episode 29: Goliath:
Ryo, Kenta, and Kazu meet up with Takato and the others. Meanwhile, Calumon is on the loose, and Makuramon
is out to get him. Calumon starts to chase around a data packet and is having a good time. His happiness causes the red triangle
on his head to glow. Due to this, three nearby Woodmon digivolve to Cherrymon. Makuramon notices the light of digivolution
and heads in that direct. He runs into the Tamers and decides to sick Majiramon on them. At first it looks like they are no
match for the giant dragon. Then Ryo cardslashes the Goliath card, and Cyberdramon crushes Majiramon with his bare hands.
After the battle, Cyberdramon is still thirsty for battle. Ryo says he has to leave the group so Cyberdramon can find another
opponent to fight.
Episode 30: An Imperfect Storm:
Beelzemon is pleased with his new form, but he wants an opponent to fight. He searches the digital
world for a challenge. Meanwhile, Takato and the others decide to go back to the flag to see if Rika is there. Rika is in
a swampy area, where she is among a group of flying diginomes. While Renamon is looking for food, the diginomes lead her to
water. A huge wave carries her into the river, when someone throws her a line (literally). She thinks its Renamon, but it's
actually Calumon! Renamon runs up to them and grabs them as another tidal wave rushes through the area. They are transported
back to the desert where they first arrived. Takato and the others have reached the spot where the flag was, but it's now
gone. Rika, Renamon, and Calumon happen upon them, and the group is back together.
In the real world, Hypnos
(without Yamaki) has been testing the Juggernaut program again. Just as the Tamers are trying to think of a way to get back
home, Beelzemon shows up! They discover he is Impmon. Kyuubimon digivolves to Taomon and prepares to fight him. Before they
have a chance to begin, the Juggernaut is activated and causes a storm in their area. Beelzemon takes off, and Taomon uses
a spell to protect the Tamers. Catsuramon shows up, breaks her shield spell, and kidnaps Calumon. Taomon uses her spell again,
but not before Takato, Henry, and Terriermon are transported away by data streams. The group is once again separated.
